If you’ve seen more than three people in the past few years, you know that more men wear beards than ever before. From stubble to full beard, you name it.
Million different lengths and styles.
Men seem to love it. And it’s for a good reason.
Beards are amazing.
Not only do they look sexy they also send a powerful message. Men with beards are generally perceived as more masculine because having a beard subconsciously sends the message that you’re more mature, socially dominant and aggressive.
But what about those people who can’t just let it grow and look like James Harden in a year?
Don’t worry, my friend. If you’re having trouble with your beard game, this post will definitely give you some useful advice on how to bring it from 0 to 60 really fast.
There are some tips and tricks that can really help you have a better and fuller-looking beard in no time.
The very first thing you should do is to just let it grow for a month. See what you’ve got to work with. Leave it for a month or so.
No shaving, no trimming. Just go fully natural. After some time you will have a much better insight on how your beard actually grows, and after that, you can take certain steps in order to make it better and fuller looking.
Give it time.
If you’re a teenager or a young dude, relax. Just give it time. Let nature do its course. Not everyone’s beard reaches its full potential at the age of 20. Don’t even stress about it.
If, on the other hand, you’re a bit older, and after a month your beard still doesn’t look full, if you have some patchiness there are some things you can do.
The first thing is to style it the proper way.
Clean up your neck. Tilt your head, put a finger above your Adam’s apple and just shave off anything that’s below the finger in a straight line.
Then, clean up your cheeks. Try to make a straight line. Make it look clean and it will look much fuller and way better.
Work out.
Working out improves your overall health which will make hair and beard growth much more efficient. It also boosts your testosterone levels. And testosterone is the juice that makes beards grow.
So exercise, and boost your testosterone in natural ways and your beard will be very happy.
Have a proper diet.
You are what you eat is so true in so many ways.
A healthy diet rich in nutrients can cause chemical changes that can make it easier to grow a stronger and fuller beard.
Make sure you include nuts, protein such as eggs or chicken breast, beef, fish and a lot of greens.
The next thing you can do is take vitamins and minerals. Especially biotin and a high-quality multivitamin.
Now, understand that none of these things will make hair magically appear on your face. They will just create a more friendly environment for the existing hair to get stronger and eventually to promote some new growth.
Keep the skin underneath it clean and moisturized.
This one’s also very important.
A lot of men tend to ignore this step, and the truth is you can’t have a great beard if the skin underneath it is not clean and healthy.
It can cause a lot of problems such as dry skin, beard dandruff, ingrown hair, etc. And all of that can be avoided by having the proper skincare routine.
Wash your beard regularly, exfoliate the skin to remove dead skin cells.
Moisturize using beard lotions or beard oils, they’re specifically designed for beards. They can help nourish the hair, keeping it soft and moisturized.
You could use Minoxidil or Rogaine.
I have never used it, and I don’t know much about it. So If you want to try it out do your research.
I’m not saying you should use it, can’t do that if I haven’t personally tried it, but I’ve heard a lot of people talking about it, and I’ve seen videos of people having some great results.
But if you want to use it, do the research and see what other people who’ve had some first-hand experience have to say.
